ADMISSIONS CRITERIA:
- At least one parent or guardian has a personal testimony of a relationship with Jesus Christ and is connected to a local church. New families are required to provide a letter of reference from the church they attend.
- Parent or guardian is in agreement with CSD's mission, vision, and values.
- Parent or guardian is willing to partner with us in educating their child from a Christ-centered point of view, as well as maintaining a home environment and lifestyle that support Scriptural principles and our Doctrinal Statement.
- Due to the advanced academics at CSD, students must be at grade-level or above in core courses. If your child has an IEP or 504 Plan, please forward a copy to the Admissions Office for review before submitting an application.
- Students must also have demonstrated respect for authority and have a history of being a positive influence in their previous school settings. CHRISTIAN reserves the right not to accept any student suspended or expelled from another school; with a history of excessive absences or tardiness; involved with drugs, alcohol, or illegal activities; with a history of inappropriate or disruptive behavior; or who exhibits conduct that interferes with the school’s mission or educational function.
NEW STUDENT APPLICATION AND ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Complete all fields to create an online account, then follow instructions to verify your account. If you are a current CSD family, you may log in to your existing FACTS Family Portal account, and select apply/enroll to start a new student application (do not create a new account).
After you have verified your account, log in and select "Create New Student Application". During the application process you will be required to upload your child's birth certificate, immunization record and provide the name and email address of the individual that will complete the church reference form on your family's behalf. A student physical is required before first day of class. After you have submitted your application and fee, the admissions office will request student records from your child's current school, and contact you to schedule entrance testing (grades 1-12 only). Kindergarten students screen with a teacher. After all documents are submitted and testing is completed, if your application is approved, your family interview will be scheduled. You will receive an admissions decision via email after the interview within one week.
