This fund supports the athletic programs at Christian School District assisting in the sporting opportunities for all ages of athletes, equipment, and athletic related facilities.
At CSD we believe participation in athletics contributes greatly to the development of young people. Not only do student athletes build strong, healthy bodies, they learn lessons for a lifetime regarding discipline, sacrifice, integrity, character, sportsmanship, leadership, commitment, and perseverance. In addtition to the many benefits for individual student athletes, sporting events energize and unify the school community, and give CSD recognition outside of our local district. It takes more than experienced coaches and hardworking athletes to ensure a quality athletic program. Well-maintained fields and courts, equipment, uniforms, scoreboards, lights, officials, etc., are all necessary to "field a team." |
